What do you think the chances are that manny comes back? I hope he comes back
well that's just, like, your opinion, man
He's not leaving. Case closed.
If Sims is back, I think Manny comes back too. Belien has talked before about creating a legecy. That and the subpar performance should leave a bad taste in his mouth. Manny needs another year to develop into a nice lottery pick IMHO.
Manny maybe, but Sims has a ways 2 go before he's ready for the next level.
said after the game yesterday that he will be back next year. go read the rosenbergs article in the free press.
Manny is the #54 player; Sims is the 83rd. Compare that, btw, to Oklahoma. On the same board, Griffin is #1 and Willie Warren, their young point guard, is # 8.
I don't think any player should leave early unless they're a guaranteed first round pick. That is obviously not the case with both Harris and Sims. So expect both to come back.
Just as an aside, both still have a ways to go before they can make a NBA team. Harris needs to be more consistent. He was somewhat ineffective in the B10 because he was being guarded by stronger players. His dribble drives and creation skills must be more consistent and controlled for him to have any shot of making a NBA team. Improved strength would be a good place to start, along with a more controlled and vastly improved mid-range game. Harris also developed a good three point game late in the season and that needs to continue. If he develops a consistent dribble drive game along with a mid-range game and three point shooting, to complement his much improved passing, he can become a scorer type player at the next level. Sims, on the other hand, is an undersized PF, meaning he has to add weapons to his arsenal to make a team. He's developed a nice mid-range game and he does have a post move or two. However, he needs to cut down on turnovers with better passing. He needs another move or two down low to improve his low post game. His three point shooting must improve. If he cuts turnovers, develops more moves in the low post and improves his three point shooting, he can be a nice all purpose player who gives opponents matchup problems at the next level.
Draft Express has Manny as a #20 or so draft pick NEXT year. No one wants to come out and be a 2nd round pick, which Manny would probably be next year. Sims is too much of a tweener, and wouldn't leave early.
plus a healthy Ben Cronin and yet another year under Belien = final four.
As noted, nothing to worry about. Both Manny and Peedi are marginal draft prospects, with a chance to not be drafted at all. They both enjoy playing here, and will return. Next year Manny could face a tough choice, but don't sweat it right now.
even come from?
