I just saw his name for the first time on the Scout sidebar. A 2 star guy from MS - anyone have any other info on him? When did he come on UM's radar?
Hoke was top notch at this aspect of his job.
No idea. Under Lloyd, a late 2-star running back seemed to always turn into a fullback (Vince Helmuth, Kevin Dudley, Shawn Thompson) or a guy with maturity issues (Carson Butler) -- anything but a tailback.
Under RR -- who knows. He strikes me as the kind of guy who, if you strapped rocket packs to the Munchkins, would offer scholarships to all of Oz.
It's hard to imagine a player from Mississippi wanting to leave that state. I mean, everything about Mississippi is totally awesome, right?
maybe r.r. is trying to find a quick 170lb. full back for his spread.
Andre Criswell and Obi Oliugbo also.
I would reckon that RR has a better track record of developing lesser talent than LC. I'd buy stock in RR if he was a public company in developing talent. And the best way to pull a kid from the South, esp from MS, is when U of M is the biggest name school recruiting him.
it says on rivals that he doesn't have an offer from us but he's another one of those mississippi kids with interest/offers from the 3 MS schools and us. btw he's also unranked according to rivals
The Scout sidebar will display random people sometimes. I find its better to ignore it. Rivals is good about updating offer lists for kids, so I use that to check on a prospect's offer from UM or not.
rivals still does not show an offer from us for adrian witty. why is this?
Helmuth was actually M's first commit of his recruiting year, FWIW.
Michigan was on hm for about 2 seconds in the summer.
I'm not really sure why, but this made me laugh really hard. ty for this.
