It's possible that Adrian Witty and Justin Turner won't get past the Clearinghouse. I like to think about hypotheticals, so what do you think the team would do to fix the depth issues at cornerback?
Our only three scholarship cornerbacks would be Boubacar Cissoko, Donovan Warren, and J.T. Floyd. After that it would be Zach Johnson, probably.
Would we move Woolfolk back to CB? Would we move James Rogers back to CB? Would we stick with what we've got.
Personally, I think moving Rogers would have the least negative effect on the team. He's not getting much playing time on offense, and he would have some time to adjust back to playing cornerback. If cornerbacks get hurt, it's usually a quad or hamstring strain, since they're not quite as physically involved as many other players; therefore, Cissoko and Warren are less likely to get injured than, say, a defensive lineman, offensive lineman, or running back.
Zach Johnson is also a good special teams player, so I think he could be adequate as a corner as long as Greg Robinson doesn't leave him on an island.
Hypothetical depth chart (that I hope isn't necessary):
Warren
Cissoko
Floyd
Rogers
Johnson
Woolfolk (if there are massive injuries)

With that depth chart at corner, we are fucked.
