USC has better odds than Florida? That's interesting. Hopefully RR has a 2nd season like some of the other elite coaches have had in the recent past.

Notre Dame has a larger pool of people willing to bet on them, so they're odds are significantly lower than both Michigan State and Utah even though Sparty is likely to be about as good as Notre Dame and Utah is likely to be better (even without Johnson et al).

In the case of Hoyer at MSU I think it will be addition by subtraction. I know a lot of Spartan fans that agree. Ringer will be another problem but they also had some good blocking this year. Spartan fans have to be upset with those odds.

Hoyer was not a very good player, but in 2008 he did cut down on the mental mistakes he made regularly the previous year. Their next starter might have more raw talent, but with less experience, I'd expect him to also make more mistakes. And with their superstar RB gone, the new QB is going to have to make more plays than Hoyer had to.
