I think we should split this message board into two separate boards. One where people can dispense their unbridled optimism (ie. Denard and Tate are both fast!) and another where the other folks can sulk in world of pessimistic realism (ie. State actually has a better basketball program and probably will for some time). If you fall somewhere between these two poles you can decide based on your mood (or height of ego) at any given time whether you need a boost of unrealistic hope or if you need to be knocked down a couple pegs. I know this would help me out. Thoughts?
1. Can be utilized as a open forum for actual relevant news and inquiries to the entire athletic program.
2. the other would probably consist of 80% of our current content which is primarily garbage created by people who haven't thought twice before what they were posting. also, posts with the sole purpose to belittle other posters with demeaning comments that they wouldn't ever actually say to someone in person would go here as well.
Yeah, this board has seems to have changed lately.
I suggest folks take a look at these tips for making good blog comments (yes, I do listen to "grammar girl" podcasts when I run, I am a nerd at heart). The video is actually pretty funny and seems to apply to what has been going on here lately.
I know I violate some of these rules at times, and I think I inadvertently contributed to one thread getting out of hand recently. But everyone should try to keep as many of these rules in mind as they can.
The latest grammar rage: incorrectly using "of" rather than correctly using "have." This seems to be happening at a much faster clip.
Apparently, the phonetic spellers have taken over. "I should have done my English homework" has morphed into "I should of done my English homework." Bonus points for incorporating any other grammatical errors into the sentence.
Third board for comments about the board.
people with crappy ideas
Do you realize that we are now posting about our posts! I really hope something happens at the spring game so we can have actual sports to discuss. I blame the Air Force (or at least their goalie)and the NCAA tournament refs.
How long until the football season? I gotta start watching Michigan baseball or something. . .

insert a snake oil or wizard hat comment here. Because this post has nothing to do with Michigan Football, Basketball, or Hockey. Hey you are intitled to your opinion, but try sending request like these to Brian the owner of this blog.
I may also calmly comment on how chaos erupts on these boards. All I'm saying is that most comments tend to happen when people are either really happy or really upset about something. Its human nature. It won't change.
Also, there's not much of anything going on right now and I'm procrastinating.
i think its prima donna GCS
Running MGoJoke, just in case you were serious.
Same thing, for all intensive purposes. You should of known that.
