Trente Jones Commits to Michigan Comment Count

Huzzah a good recruiting thing happened! Yes, for us! 2019 GA 4-star OT Trente Jones (247 profile/highlights) has committed to Michigan.

Jones pulled the trigger after visiting this weekend—if you were in Crisler it was hard to miss the mountain sitting by Partridge. Listed at 6’6/282, he had offers from just about the whole SEC.

Informative update tomorrow, probably.

Dude;

He's a GA 4* who just committed to Michigan, there is a definite possibility that this is a permanent commit. I think so, but then again, I don't go through my life constantly assuming the worst in every scenario. Perhaps embracing and celebrating the fact that a very good football player just committed to our beloved Michigan as part of a blockbuster class and welcoming him aboard is a healthier and more productive alternative to consternation and bellyaching. The status quo of constant abject misery and pessimism is neither productive nor healthy.

"I just married the woman of my dreams, but what if she cheats on me and wants a divorce after taking all of my money!"

"I just got hired for my dream job, but what happens if they're unsatisfied with my work output and fire me!"

"I just bought a brand new luxury car, but what happens if I get into a crash with it!"

"I just won the lottery, but what happens if a meteor falls from the sky and smashes my brains in when I'm bringing it in to the lottery office!"

Excited he's committed, and welcome to the team. Please ignore the new blog tradition of shitting on your commitment by assuming you'll leave and blaming the coaches.
