Get real. Tim Tebow is the 5th most thrilling player in college football history, according to SI.
Really? Barry Sanders? Adrian Peterson? Marshall Faulk? Desmond Howard? Peter Warrick? Charlie Ward? Tommy Frazier? All way more exciting than TT.
Tebow is good, but I would never claim that the way he plays "quickens my pulse" (maybe if he were a Wolverine I'd disagree, but Demps, Rainey and Harvin were Florida's exciting players last year, not Tebow). Pat White was a much more exciting QB to watch and evoked a much more "visceral response" in how he played.
And needless to say, I watched a highlight reel of Tebow on Youtube, and then watched Charles Woodson's Heisman reel. Tebow never did anything as exciting as the interception against Michigan State.
