Our next three games are all at Crisler. The next one (NC Central, Dec. 29) is a gimme, but after that it gets considerably tougher. On Dec. 31 we take on Wisconsin, who is currently 9-2 and is tied in the second half with a top 10 Texas team as I type this. On Jan. 4 we face Illinois, who is 11-1 after thrashing Missouri tonight. Those two games should be considered tossups, and what's more, they both occur while the students are still on break (so no Maize Rage and no pep band). So anyway - get to Crisler for those games. We need great crowds. This season is still very young and could go either way. Give the team your support. So far they've played well enough to have earned it.

Driving up from Virginia for the annual holiday visit. Will be at Crisler on 12/29 and 12/31 with the family.
You know, the Big Ten's doing pretty well considering how weak they were expected to be this year. There don't appear to be any really top-flight teams, but any team besides Indiana, Iowa and Northwestern stands a shot at making the Tournament this year.
Analysts were predicting four B10 schools, but really, if you ended the season today, you'd have five or six. Even Wisconsin's around #40. I know, I know, the B10 season hasn't started yet, but it's definitely exciting. It should make for a really great conference slate.
if anyone is selling Wisco tix let me know. & FWIW maybe a forum to buy/sell tix could be added to mgoblog?
an MGoBlog wagering board.
Nah, on second though, it wouldn't work. Everyone around here would probably only bet on Michigan (except for Jay, of course).
