"He's a hard worker, and he watched me and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) and Nik (Stauksas) put work in to become (first-round picks), and I'm just happy he's getting better," Burke said. Sorry about inactivity
I was on a plane yesterday, and then slept for 14 hours. But now I am back and should have your lightning quick up-to-the-minute updates rolling once more.
Good weekend I missed, though: hockey pulled through with 8-3 and 5-4 comeback wins against a good Bowling Green team and short-handed basketball defeated South Florida.
God has decided to start smiting the hockey team: Eric Werner missed the BG game and will miss the next two weeks, including the GLI, which will leave Michigan skating 11 forwards and 5 defensemen.
