The nutty Michigan coverage isn't so much about Harbaugh as it is a signal to the Big Ten that Fox wants to party.
One extremely important for any holiday shoppers: the MGoStore is having a dual-pronged holiday sale. All shirts are 20% off and anything over $50 ships free.
There is also an official MGoBlog shirt, as requested by several readers:
Also, the world needs more queme shirts and "Worst State Ever" shirts that aren't those irritating knockoffs that actually explain what state we're talking about, every one of which makes God die a little inside:
Consume in the name of Christmas.
A side note to forestall the inevitable message board thread: yes, the sponsorship of the blog has switched over to Underground. This is by the blog's choice, not the M-Den's, as splitting the apparel sponsorship of the blog was awkward, and shouldn't negatively impact your opinion of them.
Any way there will be alternate MGoBlog t-shirts? I really want to get one, but I'm not a big fan of this design. Just the banner from above on a t-shirt would be fine.
I know, I know- heresy. I really want to rock an MGoBlog t-shirt, though! (stomps feet and closes eyes like little girl).
"Those who blog will be champions."
DELICATELY PHRASED STATEMENT.
I wasn't the one that negged you but I disagree. I like the subtle Bo tribute with "The blog, the blog, the blog." I appreciate that a lot more than the sarcastic and/or crude shirts that I've seen people create over the years (not pinning that statement to MgoBlog shirts, just in general).
I also like your suggestion of "The Big Blog." Both tap into Michigan's history...
I have to disagree with your shirt choice. While I love the shirt:
"Worst State Ever!"
I believe that I still enjoy the
"tWorst State Ever!"
shirt more. What happened to this shirt? Why is it not an option.
In sum: WHY COME!!!!!!!!!!!!
I second that. I always preferred tWorste State Ever... what happened to it?
As a devotee of Moes, I'm actually glad they are no longer the primary sponsor.
The official mgoblog shirt is hilarious.
FA will now include Underground apparel in all of his posts for the next week?
from an underground (printing) source that he, in fact, will be doing that.
I also despise whomever decided that the outline of the state of Ohio was an insufficient identifier. The parens ohio cannot be intended for the benefit Michigan fans. We know what hell looks like, there is no need to label it.
Agreed. But I'm more disapointed in the people that are buying the shirts with (ohio) than the makers.
The best part are the confused looks I get wearing this thing in CA. I tend to tell people that it's Poland.
i'm clearly an idiot. can somebody explain the queme shirt to me? kthx. neg-points here i come
Picture of the original shirt: http://twitpic.com/22psy
And a relevant front page post from this here blog: http://mgoblog.com/content/firestarters
The shirt simply combines Beilein's motivational tactic with the known tendency of Spartans to burn things in riotous fashion in connection with their basketball program - hence the couch is green.
"Storm the Dorm" Picture of Sparty with a ski mask on, baseball bat in one hand and a ripped "Frat Boy" tee shirt in the other hand. Would be awesome!!
Where can I send my idea for a shirt?
Where can I send my idea for a shirt? (sorry for the double post, I cannot delete it.)
While at Disney World during the week of Thanksgiving, I wore my "Worst State Ever" t-shirt to one of the parks. You wouldn't believe the amount of comments I received. Ohioans were obviously upset by my choice of apparel, but a majority of the people approved, going so far as to shout "awesome shirt!" and "where did you get that shirt?". Some even asked to have their picture taken with me. I felt like Mickey Mouse. It was great!
If you had gotten a picture of Mickey wearing the shirt, THAT would've been awesome.
I wish all the shirts were printed on American Apparel T's. They're so much nicer.
We should have some american apparel options in the next 24 hours up on the site, hopefully by this afternoon.
Thanks for everyones patience!
