I wanted to put this as a response to Tuesday recruiting, but I can't for some reason. I just watched a video on rivals of Sharrif Floyd at a camp down south and he says some things that contradict what has been written about him.
I get the impression that he doesn't follow his own internet hype train much. He hasn't looked at the rivals site to see that he is listed in the top ten.
He isn't planning an official to Penn State. He says he's been there enough. He is definitely planning a trip to Michigan (and OSU and Illinois for that matter) but not necessarily as officials. He said that he will likely take two officials to schools down south, but hasn't decided which ones yet. He says that he will take an official to Boston College. He has no interest in schools out west.
Based on this interview we have a shot. I suspect he knows very little about Michigan, because he wasn't a football fan growing up, of anyone. He says in the interview he didn't grow up a fan of PSU because he didn't follow football at all. He also doesn't seem like the type to do a lot of research (that's just my opinion based on the interview)
As Brian says, if we get him to campus, anything can happen and he is planning on coming as of right now.

I hope that this is a situation where our lack of depth at the position will play into our favor. If he's good, he will get a lot of playing time within a year or two.
