There have been some talk about Craig Roh being molded for the hybrid DL/LB position. (I can't remember if it's the spinner or quick, I think it's quick.)
From the scouting reports and the film I've seen, he has an unnatural crab-stance that he uses to unleash a killer spin move. He was obliterating OL at the All American game, and I couldn't wait for him to get to campus.
I always thought he would be utilized as a pass rushing DE, however, wouldn't a move to quick would force him to drop into coverage sometimes? I'm all for keeping defenses guessing, but I'm not sure if that will really utilize his strengths.
I know that the coaches see him every day and know way, way more than me, but I just feel like I'm missing something here because I never saw him as a "quick" type player.
