“I’m way more comfortable,” Gardner said. “Last year was my first year starting, and it was rough, a lot of ups and downs, a lot of adversity. A lot of adversity I fought through, and I feel like I did a really good job of never giving up, never giving up on myself and my teammates. I feel my teammates recognized that, and my coaches recognized that, and I feel like that will help me.”
I agree. Rich Rod is going to bring in the guys the team needs. Once the season starts, official visits start and high schools are able to put on more tapes, they will be able to get the guys the team needs in the positions that are weakest. I have faith no doubt!
When your team is winning, be ready to be tough, because winning can make you soft. On the other hand, when your team is losing, stick by them. Keep believing.
Anyone who thought the class was going slow just has expectations that are not realistic....the other teams recruit as well. Also a system guy who is three star is easily more valuable then a highly rated guy who does not fit (i.e. Christian Wilson)
There has been rampant discussion over how poorly recruiting is going and how Ohio State is killing us. Now, when the rankings come out and show that RR's doing a damn good job, the thread about it has three posts in three hours.....
I guess people just like to complain.
