Rich Rods Red Wrist Band?

Anybody know why Rich Rod wears the red wrist bands?  I imagine it's so the QB knows who is who on the sideline, or is it just a fashion statement? 

 IMO, it could be a spot to put some glow sticks in and move his hands frantically so all the fans are mesmorized by the tracers.  But that would only work at night games, so he might be changing it this year or schedule some Thursday night games!

It's a bracelet bought to benefit the toothless citizens of West Virginia. The also make a blue one, to benefit the guy who has teeth.

@Cfaller: I know what you mean. Last night I had a glass of warm milk and read some poetry, then went to bed. This morning I wake up, there's a dead hooker in my bed, and she was wearing red bracelets. All I could think of was, "What's she doing wearing Wrist Strong bracelets?". It was the darndest thing.
