Okay, we've got zero additional organization from the thread, but some people are bringing beverages and food and a grill, so what the hell it's a go: there will be an MGoTailgate (wsg Varsity Blue!) at approximately 9AM tomorrow. Location is in the general vicinity of the bus stop near Crisler in the Blue Lot.

I am relatively easy to spot. My hair is basically configured like this:

…so there you go. See you there.

It's on.

I'm heading to the grocery store later tonight. Getting basic tailgate supplies. Throw any requests into this thread. Basically, I'm throwing food and beverage in a cooler, tossing it into the middle of the tailgate.

Beer preference? Or, if anyone has an idea for a drink, I'm game for that. I'll pick up ingredients.

Otherwise, you're stuck with whats it my cooler. You like turnips, right? Sweet!

My store trip is at least 3 hours in the future. Go.

Watched me some of the game on the interwebs. Tate looks pretty good but I'm going to have to go ahead and put the CONE BONE at starting QB for the year. He was glorious. Oh and Carlos Jonathan Brown was mucho bueno! He looks fast as H out there. I think he could take Nard Dog.

My day started out driving to my designated tailgating spot at around 9:30.... drove by the BOX house and had an instant smile on my face as I saw 20+ people boozin' on the roof and countless others in the yard, spilling out on the sidewalk. S. University and Hoover was representin', and I loved it.
So it is now 6:30, I just got home after ending the tailgate at 6... am sporting a great sunburn and am still tipsy... overall, a GREAT day. Beautiful weather. I was even really happy with how many people attended the game. Next year my only request is that they start the game a little later in the morning so more people can have access the the early festivities.

Thoughts about the actual football that I watched are as followed:
-Forcier is tiny!
-Cone = the DEATH of DEATH.
-Vincent Smith is quite shifty and must be on of RR's favorites.
-If our RBs stay healthy, look out.

Overall, a great day to be a Wolverine. I'm somewhat hammered, so thanks for putting up with the poor grammar and sentence structure...!

I learned about Victorian Age Zombies. It was riveting since they didn't let us read Dickens down in Bloomington.

And, I also learned just how hard it is on my body hanging all day with 21-24 year olds.

It was a good time all day and thanks Brian for hosting the tailgate.

Just watched it on a myspace page - because the MGoblue website wouldn't let me view it. Thoroughly impressed with how much better our offense looks this year. Even more impressed with T. Forcier. Whatever "it" is moxie, poise, etc. Tate's got it. Now I know he's 18-19 yr. old, but after watching the other two QB's last year, I'll take it. Also, Minor and Brown look good, but Vincent Smith might make us forget all about Sam McGuffie - and don't forget a second year, Mike Shaw. Remember all those guys who said that Roundtree got snake oiled by Rodriguez and that he'd end up a career sideline guy. Looks like the kid's got some real game. Kinda reminded me of Manningham when he was a freshman. Overall, I still think we're a hell of a long way from where we want to be, but I see the progress from year one to year two and can't wait until 2010 or 2011 for the finished product.

Now let's hope the defense was having an off day - because if our offense is manhandling our defense - well that's just scary.

Good start though - looking forward to the fall!
