Radio, Then Ill-Timed Vacation Comment Count

Two items:

1. I'll be on WTKA at 4 PM today with John U Bacon. Recruiting will be a main topic of discussion, and we may get into other things.

2. I am going on a fairly ill-timed vacation starting Thursday that will last until the 15th. In my stead there will be a number of guest posters: Dylan from UMHoops, Tim from Yost Built, Tim from Varsity Blue, various Wolverine Liberation Army posters, MVictors, the Hoover Street Rag folks, and others. There should be content every day, and I'll be able to check in at least a few times throughout the course of my absence.

....what, guest posting from them??? Have you ever heard of the song Gypsies in the Palace....hopefully there's still a mgoblog upon your return. Just kidding, of coure.....enjoy your vacation, well earned and likely overdue. Hopefully you're going somewhere warm with beaches.

I just listened to the interview, and I thought you sounded good. I didn't detect any nervousness at all. Some people that are brilliant writers don't necessarily sound good in interviews, and vice versa, but you did well. Also, hey John Bacon.....Shut up for a second, and let him talk!...sheesh! Can't a brother get a word out? Have fun on vacation...hope its someplace warm!

Bacon is a good guy and all, but he's one of the worst interviewers I've ever heard. I think he would much prefer interviewing himself, so he could do all the talking, instead of having to suffer the indignity of actually allowing his guest to talk. Just shut the hell up and let your guy speak, for chrissakes. Jesus.
