Sorry about the light day; seven hours in a car on Sunday does not lend itself to lots of content. But I am going to be on WTKA from 4-6 if you want more MGoBlog. [email protected] or (734) 998-1050.

For the first time I tried to get on and listen and possibly contribute from far away Ohioland. Downloaded the Plugin for Safari for the Microsoft Silverlight twice and still hear nothing. Read the help section that even says some Mac users have problems and did what it said to do. Still nothing. Microsoft has and always will release inferior products that ruin things for everyone. Ah well maybe someday I'll hear what Linda is all about.

You're using the largest security hole having software produced, made by a company that actually has its customers BELIEVING that they will NEVER get a virus or any piece of malware, and you're going to attack MS? Granted, with MS, there are numerous things that don't work. And you may actually have to be able to trouble shoot using many of its products. But I'll take more open and allowable everything any day than ruled-with-an-iron-fist proprietary crap any day. Particularly from a company like Apple that shows on a daily basis that it doesn't give a damn about their loyal consumers. And btw, the the software obviously works for most people. Maybe Apple is creating problems. Try a different browser, one that is NOT considered the LEAST safe software available, and try again. Try Firefox. It's a good browser.

I happened upon the show today on my way home from work. Listened from 4 - 5:15ish and NEVER ONCE HEARD the phone number to call in. 1) Tate is hurt. He's been hurt since IU. It's WAY worse than a bruise and it showed in the cold at MSU and Iowa. He is nowhere NEAR 100% and gets worse as the game goes on (until adrenaline kicks in for the final drives). 2) Denard was the right call by virtue of his leading the team for the touchdown on the 2nd to last series. If he completes underneath to Odoms, instead of forcing downfield for the int, UM has a very good chance to kick the FG and win. Then Rodriguez looks like a hero rendering all this hand wringing by fans MOOT. 3) The coaching decision to second guess is NOT switching QB. The real question is, why the onside kick? Why not kick it deep after cutting the deficit to 2 points? I'll hang up and listen. :)

It was interesting to listen to both shows one after the other. Michael laid it out - IMO. I have to say, I think Brian was affected and toned down his "Forcier should have played in the final drive" rhetoric a bit. (Brian did you call Michael - Billy? - you do go way back.) I encourage everyone to listen to this Monday morning QB to get a balanced feel. Really excellent discussion (if sometimes condescending to the callers) of the game and the state of Mich football. I think we all could be schooled by Michael on this game especially wrt to the final drive. Kudos to Brian as well for his insights as always.
