Despite not being part of the chat, I would like to say that it is really cool.  and for anyone who is trying to read the older part of the chats, there is a button to turn off auto scrolling at the bottom.

 Awesome.

Now let's just get us a qb and we are ready for the season.

One note on Marcus Hall (mentioned early in the chat): Aside from one dubious Sporting News blog entry (which I would trust less than ESPN, so less than zero), where has he said Michigan is eliminated? Yeah yeah, Glenville, OSU lock, etc...I agree with THAT, but has a reputable source reported that UM is officially out?

Dear Mgoblog forum,

I never thought this would happen, but I was proven wrong...Okay, I live in Boston and I have Comcast. If I have any hope of getting BTN, it's if Comcast decides to make it available nationwide next year, right? (I could be wrong.) Well, I was flipping through the channels the other day, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I came across Big 10 Network on channel 285!  I'm serious.  I still can't believe it and I think that it's a mistake and that Comcast will take it away. Still, I got to DVR the practice, so I'll definitely watch that when I can.  Do other people get BTN outside the Midwest?

I had BTN the night before the official Comcast launch. The next day, it was gone. I called the local Comcast office and they said it was a teaser. I had to pay $5 a month for BTN and host of other sports networks. They may be trying to gauge public interest in BTN in Boston. However, I would call Comcast and see what their plan for BTN is this year. Also, when I lived in Boston, Comcast was great. They just may be as awesome as they were for me. So enjoy the perk, if it really is.

1)  I got the impression that RR was saying that Ferrara has potential to start down the road, not that he will be a starter off the bat;

2)  David Moosman looks like the John Candy Stan Shmenge character from the old SCTV show;

3) Branstatter was great and great reference by the BTN guy to the demise of Michigan Replay;

4)  practice did not seem as speedy or helter skelter as I had imagined; there was still a fair amount of standing around in the position drill portion.

5) the Lloyd tour of Angell Hall was hilarious; he was like an old friendly ghost just floating around, wandering into classrooms.  High comedy.

6)  I think one of the McGuffie tats was a superman "S."  Perhaps he and Shaq get their ink from the same artist.

Given that Ferrara was the primary depth at defensive tackle, is this also a tacit endorsement of Mike Martin? Or the development of the ginormous Jason Kates? Or both?
