Per a couple of the Ohio State boards, Justin Boren may have strained his MCL and could be out a few weeks.

As long as he is healthy for the UM game I have no problems. That asshat needs to meet our new defense and get his ass laid out in that game. There is no need for any news on him until he gets his ass handed to him in late November.
Michigan - where past NBA superstars sons come to win National Championships!
While I don't root for injuries, I don't care if our opponents are shorthanded against us. We've had our share of injuries when we've faced OSU lately. I wouldn't shed any tears if the shoe were on the other foot.
I don't particularly wish ill on him, but I don't mind seeing it happen. If he's hurt and Michigan players don't get to beat up on, just as well. After his "family values" comments and subsequent fights and hitting people after the play during Ohio State (we talkin' bout) practice, he doesn't deserve to be on the field. I hope he enjoys his future used car dealership.
For a second, I thought he got lateral epicondylitis on his eating arm.
Good one. I think it is quite obvious how I feel about that terd. However, this is quite unfortunate for him.

I guess you'll sleep well tonight.

My wish isn't to see him get hurt, but I don't feel bad for him at all. I just want to see him get dominated and embarrassed.

Feeling so hopeless and overmatched by the opposing Michigan defensive line, Justin Boren sits indian-style at the 7-yard line, weeping.
"I hope it snows tonight so I can plow away my sorrows..."
It ain't easy being cheesy
Fair Enough CC. Still I got a huge laugh from your under signature writing. GOD BLESS!

Lol! I would've done that before, but I know I'd be staring at a dump load of "minus 1s."

to take a guess at how this happened?
I've got to go with kicking the snack machine after his Fritos got stuck.

I get all my info on J. Boren from ChimmyChonga! CC knows a lot about that dude to include very grim details about his private life.

See what happens when you dont listen to Mike Barwis
But according to that guy a few months ago, Boren and Barwis were best friends and loved playing skiball together! Boren was forced to leave because Greg Frey is a sex pervert, the worst kind of pervert!

Which completely eroded the family values from Michigan.

That's sad. Anyone enjoying the pain of others, regardless of where they choose to play football, is retarded.

Hope Boren heals up fine.

Good thing it is the summer, roads woulda been a mess in the winter.
Sprain= ligament(MCL)
Strain= tendon
Perhaps Boren injured himself spreading family values at Ohio State practices as positively discussed by Rittenberg earlier this year:
1) Knocking players down "after a play" to add intensity
2) "Screaming and cussing" at teammates to be a "good guy to have"
3) Using fights with teammates to "set the tone"

Hopefully he will be healthy in time for snow plow season.
Strictly business...Not personal.
Does anyone know if Brian still post at bucknuts? I had totally forgotten about that until I saw the bucknuts link from the OP, but just checked and it looks like he hasn't posted there in awhile. I thoroughly enjoyed the "michigan thoughts by a michigan fan but written for ohio state fans" perspective. Hiatus, or failed experiment?
Gave you a +1 so you can get the points to start your own thread if it hasn't been brought up already. I'm not sure what happened there either but most of the bucknuts users didn't seem to appreciate Brian as much as we do.

Like everyone else I hate to see athletes get hurt b/c you never know how if affects their future, but I’m looking the other way on this one.
Blocktimus Prime and the Autoblocks will be back and kicking Middie ass Week 1.

"Oh my God, he's a crazy dude," Gibson said. "It's good to have him over there because we're lining up and he's screaming and cussing and [stuff]. He's a good guy to have."
Nothing like screaming and cussing and causing fights to back up those family values.
Alright, now you got me going. I hope he's healthy on November 21 when OSU comes to the Big House so we* can kick his fat donut ass all over the field.
*When I say "We", I don't necessarily mean myself, but the likes of Brandon Graham, Mike Martin, William Campbell and others.
Flush twice - it's a long way to Columbus.
I'm certainly not happy to hear about it. I'm never happy to hear about a player getting hurt unless it's someone who's actively a real danger to other players (best example I can think of is fortunately-ex-NHLer Bryan Marchment.)
Am I particularly sorry to hear it though? No, not really. Boren is dead to me.

Im surprised that his knees have lasted this long, considering how much girth they have supported over the years.
MCL = Medial collateral ligament. It shouldn't be a chronic injury if he gives it sufficient rest.
I'm a well wisher, in that I wish him no specific harm.

You should check out Moeller's head injury. I feel bad for the guy. (HT: The Buckeye Battlecry)

That is terrifying. What happened to him is just as scary was what Glenn Winston did.

I wish no ill on him. I just want to see Michigan destroying Ohio State.
