Since 1985 when the tournament expanded to 64, there have been 32 games between a 10 seed and 2 seed. The 2 seed's record in those games is only 17-15.
this may be of some local interest
so you're saying there is a chance?
All 10 seeds are equal, but some 10 seeds are more equal than others
A win is possible but not probable.
Still, I hope UM upsets Oklahomo.
And the hits keep on coming...
I hadn't heard that one before, blows choke-lahoma right out of the water.
As long as we bring nachos, lemon heads, and my dad's boat, we have a chance of floating...
A win would be tremendous. Tremendous, I say!
Did anybody watch the Beilein press conference that was on the BTN? I saw a few minutes of it, and he threw in several tremendouses.
If our new basketball coach is acting like our old football coach, I hope Rodriguez doesn't start wearing turtle necks.
Carr said that?
I think we have a chance to win because, after all, Pat White was a 2 star, right???
So with Tate and Denard as 4*s, logic tells us, 4 NCs in a row????!?!?!
my bracket says Okies, so, it's pretty much a done deal
It will hurt that much more when Blake Griffin destroys it.
I did not think that we could beat Clemson. Matter of fact I told a buddy of mine that I did not want the game to start because until it started they were locked in the tourney. Now I know that that was only the first step on our jouney through the tourney. OU better just go ahead and forefeit now or we may hurt them on our way to the national championship where we will beat Duke again and everyone will know that they must bow down to our supremacy as we continue to roll on through the years winning NC after NC, until Beilein retires and then we bring in an even better coach who leads us to even higher reaches. Does anyone else ever find themselves lost in a world of wishful thinking. I call it the land of make believe, but hey why not right.
I like your thinking. Though, how can any coach take us to higher reaches if UM is NC ever year under Beilein? :)
Our OOC schedule will be composed entirely of NBA teams and we will be undefeated every year.
that would be fun to watch.
Off topic, if Kobe and LeBron were on a college team together surrounded by mediocrity, would you pick them to win the NCAA?
