OT?: Season Tickets...Get 2 or Get 4?

Season ticket question.

Just received my form to purchase...it's the first time I've been given the opportunity (and I graduated 10 years ago). Guess that's what 3-9 does for you.

Anyway, I went online to fill out the form and there's another link called the "All in Pack." It's the same price per season ticket ($400 for 8 games), but shows a quantity of four, not the two that the link to the season ticket purchase is.

Long story short. Anyone heard of this "all in pack" before? (I haven't.) It appears to be a chance to buy four seasons instead of two, though the letter announcing that I can buy seasons doesn't mention it.

Two, should I just go ahead and get the four season tickets together? I'm married and have two kids (ages 6 and 4). Seems like a no-brainer to get all four, though my wife is a little wary of me dropping $1600 tonight.

MGoBoarders, lend me your advice.

is a great way to get rid of your tickets for facevalue or just under, if you fall on hard times thats the way to go

Wasn't it like Christmas morning coming home and seeing the yellow envelope sitting in the mailbox? I went with the 2 versus 4 before I changed my mind. Did you put anything down regarding your seating preference?

You should just get the tickets. Like another guy said, you can just sell the tickets if you have to and get your money back, if not more than what you paid. I can't say whether you should get 4 or not, but you should probably get the 4 together too.

I decided to get the pair for now and left an email and voice message at the Ticket Office.

My main concern is that by buying the four "pack" that it doesn't include the annual renewal privileges associated with the official "Football Season" purchase.

So I bought the pair and if I can buy the four and get the renewal privileges, I'll do that and cancel the pair purchase.

If the "all in pack" is just for the 2009 season, I'll probably pass.

And yes, when I saw that yellow envelope in May (not late June when I usually get to buy the "Go Blue" pack each year), I was pretty excited.

How is the law student priority system different than regular students? My brother is in a PhD program right now at M, and he gets tix the same as other students.

The "All in Pack" is a package that guarantees you tickets to every game, but not always in the same seats. It's a way they're trying to get more people who haven't been able to get season tickets to be able to land them.
