fair point that
OT : John Madden retires from broadcasting
YES! It is probably because Favre is going to stay retired.
Should'a been you Coach K.
have to here "If he would have thrown it to the reciever, it would have been a touchdown".
Hello Matt Millen
Unfortunately, you are probably right.
Somewhere in Hollywood this guy is panicking hard, because all of his other impressions suck ass.
I hope Matt Millen takes over, and NBC in Detroit runs the same scroll every week listing his "Accomplishments" when running the Lions. If for no other reason to see the debates between whether it was appropriate or not all over again.
Some of the inane crap that'd come out of his mouth was too damn funny to be annoying. It had been my long-time dream that I'd be watching a Thanksgiving Day game and catch a glimpse of Madden sipping on a ladle of gravy that he pulled out of his inside coat pocket. Alas... "Dream another dream, this dream is over."
(You know what's a weird word? "Dream". I dare you to write/type it several times in a row and not think "what the hell?")
from the bong.
The sad truth is, I'm just bored at work and prone to let me mind wander.
Finally I can watch Football with out having to hear that guy.
The most interesting thing to me about Madden was when he was coach of the Raiders. Man, working for Al Davis and all those badass players back then must have been really interesting.
cubic inches"? My favorite Madden quote ever
"He won 16 Emmy awards for outstanding sports analyst/personality, NBC said."
Misopogon just threw up in me. -mouth
Looks like Chris Collinsworth will be taking the spot (see the note at the bottom of the article)
