I was just curious to see how many different countries our alumni live in. Are there any UM alumni here in different parts of the world? If so what country?
is there such a thing as an etsy genuis? if so, this is it.
Class of '08 LS&Play. Now living in Wieselburg, Austria.
Let's throw another shrimp on the barbie...
Austria != Australia
Easy to misread, though.
It's got to suck for residents of this 1,000-year-old country (Austria) to be mistaken for a new kid on the block (Autralia), especially since no one ever makes the mistake in the other direction.
Oh man, you guys have no idea how pissed some of my students are about being confused with Australia all the time. Some of them actually have shirts that say that there are no kangaroos in Austria. On a semi-related note, I play outside receiver on a Division II American Football league here:
not alumni, but transfered to gtown after freshman year (would have been LS&A 07 if i had stayed). Now living in Fukuoka, Japan. Oh and this blog is a godsend as it is unbelievably hard to get football news out here.
I transferred last year and am now in Loughborough, UK
LSA 08 and im in Kuwait (where im from)
I was born in Khaytan, moved to Hawali. What part you live in?

LSA 06 and living in Ohio...it's basically another country.
If it makes you feel better, I'm from the UP. Some people actually think we ARE another country.
We at least have our own language...
Yeah, I've seen a lot of U.S. maps that don't include the UP...discrimination! My only problem with the UP is that most of you guys are Packers fans.
I've seen that as well (and even moreso for maps of Michigan) and it really bugs me. My mom is from the Copper Country.
LS&A '07. South Korea til Bowl Season.
Engineering 08 now living in Japan. Thank God for slingbox so I could watch games at 3am.
I lived in London, probably will again.
