I know this is way off topic, but on football Saturdays in Ann Arbor, What vendor has the best food? Or, do you choose to tailgate?
OT Football Saturday in Ann Arbor
im sure food is great at different bbq pits but why not cook up some grub of your own
When you say "Food" do you really mean "Beer"?
If you're drunk everything tastes the same!
Now that S#@! was funny!...No I mean Food...
Tailgating is really the way to go, a few vendors on hoover and the surrounding area sell hot dogs, sausages and the like and right by quickie burger on state there are burgers and dogs and such, but nothing too special. I would make friends with someone with a nice spread and take advantage of that.
If you're an OSU fan, definitely hit up Monkey Bar. I hear they have great hot dogs.
I actually HATE! OSU and would rather eat the A$$ out of a dead horse than to eat anywhere in the vicinity of that stadium.
you should try munging a dead horse. That's a good time too.
for the use of the word munge, as a verb or otherwise.
I really can't take credit for that word as I learned it from the Michigan blogosphere...so maybe a .25.
It still means character substitution or other data transformation, right? Right?
This world has become a very dark place. There are few things left that are still pure and haven’t been desecrated. Mungeing is one of them. As long as I have mungeing, I know that things can still be all right.
Look, I know you've been hanging around the WLA a lot lately. And that's good, I mean, we appreciate the readership, and we enjoy your comments on Uniscorn.
But, uh...I can pretty much guarantee that if you hang out there much longer, Dex will desecrate the word "munge" in such extreme and vile fashion that your faith in the world may be forever shaken. Just sayin'.
So, you know. Sorry.
why would Dex do such a thing to a word as wonderful as munge? Maybe if I scour the internet, I'll be able to brace myself. I'll post back later...
DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...AND THERE IS NO GOD!!!
"Win the munge, win your freedom."
That was from Gladiator, right?
I would recommend BTB, (formerly Big Ten Burrito), on state street two or three doors down from quickie burger. Get a giant steak chimichonga... Its enough for two people and it soaks up beer great. I also recommend dropping in at Chi Psi, which is south of the union on state street. Their cook always makes something delicious (and free!!!) The best was the pig roast, which I think was before the state game.
Not in this thread...about some guy serving burgers on Hoover st...they said "the burgers must have CRACK in them" they are so good...can anyone confirm or deny.
It's confirmed, they do in fact have crack in them.
Would you say they are better than Blimpy Burger?...I tried Blimpy but didn't care for it much...I may be in the minority on this one.
If you bring your own crack to Blimpy, they will fry it for you and put it on a bun.
