Basically, go to ESPN.com, type in the Konami Code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, then hit enter) and watch the WLA inspired magic happen.
this guy evidently hired to work for AD
That does the same thing as pressing enter. It just shows the top stories.
Sorry gang, it would seem that the fun is over. Alas...
It did nothing for me. Have I been conned into giving ESPN a couple extra page hits?
Edit: I guess my question was answered while I was posting. Thanks.
The real question is, why are you on random websites typing in Contra codes?
When I did it earlier. Epic win for the power-nerd that slipped that code in.
What was it i tried it and it didn't work.
didn't find one that was good when I searched, but lots of videos of it are being uploaded right now
you just have to pick a random page that the script hasn't been removed from. such as:
Google ESPN. Select cached page. Input code (up up down down left right left right b a b a) and hit enter a bunch of times. It's like a WLA party up in there.
The Konami code was awesome. Contra was basically impossible to win the "regular" way (with three extra lives), but with 30, any third-grader could pull it off. IIRC, the game had a cool ending.
