One Frame At A Time: Michigan State
You know what's coming. Hit the jump.
[#%$^ing jump.]
There's a non-SPORTS version, too. No other GIFs were deemed necessary. Watch the girl two seats to the left of the kid flipping the bird; if anything good came from this game, it's the beautiful, expletive-laden love story that began at that moment.

Do it properly you guys. When given the opportunity, don't half-ass it.

No problem lip-reading Block M hat girl on the right.

I did not even notice the Girl screaming as well until just now..... That guy is GIF famous now...

IMO it would be a bad mom to think that that's being a bad mom. So you're not a bad mom. Or... you are?

Because I've vowed to never ever watch THAT replay ever again as long as I live. It'd have to be accidentally or otherwise forced upon me to watch it. The pain that day was enough. Thanks for the bird.
October 19th, 2015 at 1:54 PM ^
Ha! I had the exact same sentiment. I was nervous to hit the jump, because I don't want to relive that agony! I would not like to be Minnesota right now.
October 19th, 2015 at 1:56 PM ^
Seeing it live in the stadium was as painful as it gets. Watching it again is like beating youself on the head with a baseball bat over and over. Why put yourself thru it again?
October 19th, 2015 at 1:13 PM ^
Durkin had a lip read "Are you f**king kidding me?" at one point in the game as well. Can we get a gif of that one? it was 8:15 left Q1 after the 12 men on the field penalty.

I don't know why I think this but this gif would not seem nearly so epic if the kid weren't wearing a Patriots hat. Michigan fans who also root for New England are basically saying "fuck you" to the rest of the football world. At least that's why I root for them.
October 19th, 2015 at 1:35 PM ^
Be a **Lions** fan and see shit like this week in and week out?
thank god for the Red Wings. They've sustained me through some dark days.
October 19th, 2015 at 1:41 PM ^
The sellout front-running option in MI is usually to root for the Packers or Steelers. In the mid/late 80's, substitute Bears for Packers. Extra points for claiming that you've "always been a Bears/Packers/Steelers fan."
October 19th, 2015 at 1:53 PM ^
also known as the not-pathologically-masochistic option in MI
October 19th, 2015 at 3:13 PM ^
That completes the trifecta.

Cold.

Spent most of my childhood growing up in A2, but I was born in Pittsburgh, and always been a Steelers fan (as well as the perpetual pain of being a Pirates fan).
My best friend growing up was a Packer fan- his dad (professor at UofM) was from Iowa - and I think they were also Packer fans for the political/economic dynamic of community ownership versus spoiled rich guy ownership.
Didn't hate, but didn't love Detroit professional teams (followed the Pistons though) growing up. Maybe that's part of being a kid, too. Wanting to set yourself apart as an individual at times; wanting to fit in at others.
Nowadays, from afar I really want Detroit teams to win, as I see that city as the underdog, the old contender grown old, trying for a comeback, desperately needing a "win" anytime they can find it.

You are a Michigan fan so it's ok to root for the Patriots as long as Brady is there.
October 19th, 2015 at 1:20 PM ^
you're my hero!

That was the only time I have ever started jumping up and down simply because of a punt.

and I know i'm "supposed to condemn this" but I thought this was pretty hilarious.

that kid was reacting to the Bolden targeting ejection. If anything, I think the kid underplayed it.
October 19th, 2015 at 2:40 PM ^
Nope, he was reacting to them overturning the second of the three consecutive runs that got reviewed...
October 19th, 2015 at 5:10 PM ^
kinda kidding. But in that context, he might have overplayed just a little.

October 19th, 2015 at 1:49 PM ^
I remember that, because I was surprised they went back to the same shot as the kid who flipped off the camera.

I aced the whole world during the Minnesota - Michigan hockey game.
Sadly we lost 3-2. And the cameraman said mean things to me.

We're approaching 48 hours later and I'm still sick to my stomach. Couldn't stand the thought of turning on BTN yesterday and don't want to read what the internet has to say. I just stare at my dog and ponder the meaning of it all.
This kid sums it up for me; fuck you, universe. FUCK. YOU.
