Since there are only three of these today I'm not going to bother with the screencap/lightbox thing—if you need to stop the animation for the sake of bandwith, hit 'escape'.

Pretty nice play by the team's second-best freshman/"weak spot".

Not shown: really, really lame technical foul call.

Come on, that was a textbook technical.  The rim is not a chin-up bar.

Having said that, definitely awesome.

His chin never even came close to the rim and it was clear after he stopped his momentum that he was looking to the ground for a safe place to land. I think the ref called it because of how high his feet got, almost planking the rim. Awesome Dunk for a kid who rarely does flush it and still got him on the SC highlight too!

I noticed the same thing as you (Trey dunking off right foot) and was impressed.   In younger years when I could capably dunk, I was definitely better launching off my left foot and dunking right or two-handed.   I seriously had to train myself to launch off my right foot for a left handed dunk.   I think Trey may be slightly more athletically gifted than I ever was.

You're supposed to jump with the foot that is opposite of the hand you are using to shoot the layup/dunk.  So for a right-handed layup or dunk, you'd jump off your left foot, and vice versa for a left-handed layup/dunk.

If you are dunking with two hands, you typically would either jump with two feet, or with the foot you are more used to dunking/laying-up with - i.e. left foot for righties, right foot for lefties.
