Buy Low, Sell High.

There is no doubt that this program is at bottom, but there is a clear line of sight to a championship level program if we are willing to invest the time and patience.

I am Warren Buffett here, jumping in when there is blood running in the streets.

I am officially jumping on the bandwagon now to beat the rush.

Won't you join me?

Call out the Fans

That was a maximum effort by the team today, and without the turnovers they probably would have won the game.
The defense played pretty darn well.

You can see a lot of improvement in just 1 year of reruiting for Rich Rod, and over the next 2-3 years this is going to be a very good team.

Kudos for Mary Sue Coleman sticking with Rich Rod.

It is time to call out the UM fans!
If you don't like the coach, just shut your pie hole.
Quit whining!
Who the hell are you to criticize this effort?
Do any of his critics, including the media, have any credibility?
How many have coached football?
How many have played football?

...and show up to the Big House and support your team.

Otherwise, just follow Justen Boren, and switch your allegiance to MSU.

We do not want you.

i need xanex

i need xanex after watching that game. if Tate ever says he does not get nervous again I may go ballistic. on a positive note Roy Roundtree plays ball. The kid has huge upside and I think he will be a huge threat in years to come.

Tate did not get nervous

Tate did not get nervous, he was just so relaxed that he couldn't hold on to the ball... Overall great effort from everybody, especially the defense and Brandon Graham, who should be an All-American

I can't stop watching football

Amen brother, they are so close and yet so far away. This team was a couple of breaks away from being an 8+ win team, but they also could easily have been a 3 win team again.

That said, they are so much more competitive than last year--and going forward they have a lot to be excited about. If Michigan can JUST HOLD ONTO THE DAMN BALL, they can be tough next year.

Power corrupts, PowerPoint corrupts absolutely.

Competitive...

I know everyone lives and dies with wins and losses in football and yes, our record isn't as improved as everyone would like, we're all disappointed. But I'm sure the people who are most disappointed are Tate and RR.

My way of looking at it is this, last year the team was sparsely competitive and the wins were almost by surprise. This team was very competitive and only a play or two from beating the Buckeyes. I'm proud of their effort and I think that if you give RR time, he will keep bringing in guys and make Michigan a more complete football team. Let the defense learn from the same system for two years in a row! Despite the loss, what I saw today made me feel very optimistic for the long run.

My biggest disappointment is Michigan's fans. Everyone in my alumni club noted the obvious presence of Buckeye Scarlett through-out the stadium. If Michigan's fans want a winning team, then they need to show up and support the team instead of selling tickets to Buckeyes for a quick dollar. You can't have higher expectations of the football team than you have of yourself, it's time for Michigan fan's to show up and build up the team. Make Michigan Stadium the most feared venue in college sports. Too many Michigan fan's have been spoiled by success and their fair weather nature is disappointing. Show up, cheer loud, or let someone else on the waiting list have a turn.

Disappointing? More like disgusting.

The team showed up today, but where were the fans? You are too nice, redfirelx. I could not believe the amount of red in that stadium today, so much so that they were able to do their four-corner "O-H I-O" cheer. IN OUR STADIUM! It was practically a neutral site.

I am so disgusted with front-running, fair weather, bandwagon Michigan football fans. Ok, so they hate the coach and want him run out of town on a rail, but they can't show up and support these players and this team, who work their asses off? And they sell their tickets to Ohio State fans? And what's with Michigan ticket holders bringing OSU fans with them? I even saw some red in the student section, and the top rows of part of the student section, probably sections 29-31, were empty. THAT is UNACCEPTABLE! I bet it really impressed the recruits visiting that there were so many fans... for the other team.

To everyone who showed up, cheered and yelled their heads off trying to support our team and make it feel like a home crowd for them, kudos. To everyone who sold their tickets to OSU fans or brought an OSU fan with them to the game, go suck an egg. Give up your tickets and let real fans who will support the team have them.

Hail to the college whose colors we wear;
Hurrah for the Yellow and Blue!

Amen, Sister.

I understand that for a lot of people (myself included), the wind was often taken out of the sails for the fans... Hard to bounce back when you give a gift touchdown on the very first possession of the game... but I can't get down on the field and give instruction to the players. I can't make player substitutions... but what I can do is to help the team that I support to NOT feel like they are playing in someone else's stadium. The improvements to OUR stadium are such that the crowd really can become the 12th player on the team. There's no doubt that the new structures are going to reflect more noise down to the field. But we have to make the noise in the first place. Even when those among us sell out their tickets so that more OSU Badguys can fill our stadium, those who stay... well... you know... we need to be champions, too.

There Is No God

I learned from Linus VanPelt that it's important to align my hands in the correct direction while praying or else the prayers go unanswered. So it isn't me. God must be dead. Or we have been foresaken, why oh why?!! Let's pray anyway that RR can add to the temple. My heart goes out to Graham, he left everything he had on the field.

Tate the freshman proved

Tate the freshman proved himself as a freshman and as Tate. He had great moments and he had extremely freshman moments.

Roundtree played excellently. Smith played excellently. Martin played excellently. Omameh blocked someone into the next county on one play. Denard and Tate both had their moments of awesome. Our young players all looked good.

The direction is set, the direction is right, we just got out-experienced. Our defense held up surprisingly well against them, and the luck of the turnover was not on our side.

Thanks to everyone on the liveblog and Brian

It's been a rough season to say the least and tough to be all the way out here in Seattle, even though there a quite a few M fans. It's also the first in 10 years that I didn't make it back to A2 for a game.. Anyway, here's to learning and hopes for a bright future. I really hope Tate never throws 4 picks again and that we finally figure out how to counterpunch Tresselball... Enjoy basketball. Cheers - SeattleChris

Come on BLUE!

I couldn't sleep at all last night. I am needing that 'M' miracle. I am sick of losing to FREAKING OSU. I know life has been pretty bleak around MI for the past several weeks, but it all comes down to one game...the time is NOW...bring it together boys and let's put it to them! GO BLUE!

It's GREAT to be a MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!
