Not Carr

Lloyd Carr has no interest in the athletic director job:

Former Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr said Wednesday he is not interested in replacing Bill Martin as athletic director.

"I am not a candidate," Carr said.

As per usual, he had no other comment except the boilerplate bits you can find in the diaries.

In other words - he's got strong UM loyalties and connections, he understands "Michigan," he's got university administrative knowledge, and he knows how to run a business.
