If they were to add Sam Montgomery and Morgan Moses, that would put them at 31 signees, which is still 1 less than Bama last year. Is there any way for them to fit everyone w/o phantom scholarships or taking away current scholarships?
I don't think they changed Les at all actually

but looking at their 2008 class, they signed 18 last year and they have two January 2009 enrollments that can be applied towards last year's class, which would take them down from 30/31 to 28/29.
I don't know what academic system UNC is on (quarters v. semesters) or if it would allow a second round of early enrollments that could also be assigned retroactively but my guess is that that wouldn't work.
So my guess as someone that reads college football forums is that even with all the technicalities and scholarship accounting tricks they're still going wind up with at least 3-4 players over the NCAA's maximum of 25. and those players will be encouraged to go to prep school or something.
