I mean:

“The Victors” could soon have a modernistic younger sibling.

If a resolution presented to the Central Student Government on Tuesday night passes, the body will provide funding to a group of students looking to develop an additional thematic song to play at University athletics events.

Central Student Government.

I don't know who you are. If you're looking for jobs I can tell you I don't have any. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired from the internet. Skills that make me a nightmare for people who will be in job interviews with people who have googled you. If you vote this down unanimously, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for your facebook photos. I will not scour your instagram. But if you vote for this, I will find your linkedin. I will find your whole internet. And I will kill your search results.

dude annihilated his twitter page two seconds after I found it

The patient zeroes:

Business sophomore Adam Weiss, a representative on the CSG Assembly, spoke on behalf of the song campaign, which he called “Hail and Unite.” He said his friend, LSA senior Mike Weinberg, conceptualized the project.

“This project is meant to be, number one, extremely unique,” Weiss said. “The goal of this song is to get a lot of big names that are associated with the University.”

"Extremely unique." #expelAdamWeiss

DO NOT BAN MGoBubbler.  This is the funniest thing I've seen on the interwebz since BigKatzBigDreams and it's apparently real!

The rest of you, quit downvoting him.  Bolivia is the last place for this guy.  "Brian Oh Brian you fat jerkin off piece of shit I'm gonna meet you on the fuckin' diag and we'll sort this shit out"  TREMENDOUS.

Dude, maybe time to make like your username and hit the bubbler and chill out for a minute. I recommend the movie Scrapple as a diversion while hitting the bubbler (http://www.scrapplemovie.com/). I assume that's what you want BCook to meet you on the Diag to do. Or is this a "meet me in Temecula" moment? Either way, this isn't a place for posts like yours. And by "posts like yours" I mean literal threats, which I interpret your post as making.

At first I was a little pissed, but then I actually read the article and talked to some of my friends from FIJI who knew him, and basically he's not trying to replace the fight song (which would never happen anyways). It's a totally separate project and as stupid as it is, I don't think it's worth encouraging him being expelled or hurting his reputation, even in a joking way. It's a ridiculously stupid idea, so let's just let it get shot down, if it doesn't, then we can talk about further action.

Long-time lurker, here.  I think it's as bad of an idea as the rest of you, but I don't think it's a good look to launch a mob attack on the kid that came up with the idea.  Did we really need to get a mob together and play smear-the-student to protect The Victors?  I think the personal attacks are akin to the "Stop drinking and go to bed."  It's just not somewhere we should be going if we hold ourselves higher than most other reprenhensible actions.

The other day I was at Assembly Hall, and at some point during the game, there was a pseudo-hip hop music video for a song called "This is IU." Every student clearly knew every word, the video was well done, and most importantly, while it was played, the student section was having fun. College is for the students. If they wanna do something fun, I say let them.

Also this is straight-up cyber bullying. If a guy had to delete his twitter because he had a fun idea, I am not convinced it is the kid who made the mistake.

What, you don't think UBS will hire you if you haven't proven your ability to make up dumb stuff in order to justify some meetings? I usually don't get too worked up about this stuff, but just leave the Victors alone.

A big no to this idea.  Won't entertain it, nope, not one bit.  It's like that friggin' "Willie the Wolverine" BS that cropped up when I was at U-M '87-'91...nearly punched the shit out of Willie at the corner of South U and East U one day.

Oh Brian oh Brian. How I love when you post humor such as this. It is the scum of the earth like you that motivates so many of us to succeed in life. So, let me ask you a few questions you ignorant, disgusting loser.

1. Do you enoy sitting all day in your mom's basement jerking off to your sister?

2. Do you not show yourself in public because you're a fat piece of shit who eats all day and trolls the internet.

Why do i even dare go any further. This kid will clearly get a job because he is a genuine character who people do not care what they find about him on the internet. You on the otherhnad, well maybe you deserve to be ISIS' next target. Maybe one day we will see you on the internet, getting your testicles cut off and shoved in your fucking mouth. It is this day that I will laugh, laugh so fucking hard, because no one will know who you are.

So my reccomendation for you. Get off your fucking ass. Meet me in the Diag Friday the 13th at 3pm. Let's see what you really look like. And let's settle this like men.

I will say that Brian probably shouldn't call this kid out, though I guess I took it as more a joke than an actual attack or call to action. If so, then bad form by Brian.
Also, college kids need to realize that if a guy like Brian can find dumb pictures on your Twitter page this quickly, might be worth taking them down before employers looking to offer you 6 figure yearly payments start doing checks as well.
