I think a decent amount of it
I think a decent amount of it also has to do with the fact that there is still a full month before the game. In my experience tickets go for their highest usually the week of the game.

It's Worse Than You Think
As a season ticket holder, I got an email from the ticket dept a few days ago. There are STILL ND, OSU and Penn St. tix available! That's unheard of. The only catch was, for every ND or OSU ticket ordered (limit 4), you had to buy an equal number of Eastern AND Delaware St. tickets.

So what's the total face value of those tickets combined?
Somewhere around $170? I'm bidding on some tickets on ebay for the ND game for around that much per ticket. This is my first ebay ticket buying experience for a Michigan game, so I'm not sure how that compares to years past. My Dad has season tickets and my sister just graduated from UM, so for the past 5 years since I graduated I have always been able to find tickets pretty easily. Are the Notre Dame game prices on ebay really that much lower than for a "normal" year?

definitely reasonable for most tickets this year. Even Ohio State tix for under $175 per ticket on the Hub of Stub.
