NCAA Football 2010

Even this is going to piss people off play them with Appy State or West Virginia, Appy State might actually have the fastest qb in Ncaa 2009 and all you have to do is run around the tackles and if some body gets close to tackling you behind the line of scrimage just pass it its actually pretty easy and even works in heisman mode.

Same thing happens in nba 09. everyone pics the celtics or lakers. So far everyone I have played has picked one of those two. I still pick the pistons every time, which I am a fan of. Gets so annoying...

I would tweak Robinson's speed to more than 90. He ran th 100 meters in 10.44. Now that's SEC speed.

Well I just hope EA doesn't screw these ratings up because they should know the Michigan faithful suffered with a terrible team last year.

NCAA 09 didnt have any 1-AA teams it it, so the App state QB won't be the fastest in the game

EA makes the crappiest football game ever. If it doesn't have the same features from the previous year's game except for a roster update, then it's full of sloppy mistakes like stadium or player inaccuracies.

I wouldn't expect them to get EVERY single detail correct, but at the very least do some research and ensure everything is as close to crisp as possible.

This is why it bugs me that they're the only ones who can produce a football video game. Makes for bad games and makes for bad capitalism...

All u have to do is go online and find a downloadable roster. It has everyone, also with tweaked attributes

There's a few things. First, Plegerize, fine, don't like. Personally, every game has flaws, but NCAA is a sound game.

I don't tend to play online too much, only sometimes. But if you're concerned with these people, grab a few friends, download roster names, make any changes you want (I happened to lower Threet and Sheridan last year... both were... GASP... overrated in the game), and play an ONLINE DYNASTY. No doubt this was the best feature, and it will only continue to improve every year.

And for the Record, there are Div I-AA teams in the Xbox and Ps2 versions, not in the Xbox360 and PS3 versions, so yeah, someone could play with App State, if on a previous gen system.

July 14, NCAA 2010 comes out. Continue your 09 online dynasties til then!

EA probably doesn't have the resources to do too detailed analysis, for a while, freshmen were not even in the game. They still predicate a team's talent on the previous years success, even the ability to recruit there. That doesn't bode well for Michigan, but Tate should be ovverrtaed and before long, Michigan will join Florida, USC, Florid State and formerly West Virginia as the overused teams of the world. On another note however, the game looks to be better, glitches will be fixed in the OD, I am liking that they already worked on pursuit angles, swerving running back defense, and the new create-a-conference looks sweet. (ND in the Big Ten... I am thinking of the old SWC too... SMU.)

Alright a couple comments.

1) EA does own the rights to NCAA football and Baseball. Meaning it is the only company that can produce games with the licensed NCAA teams.

2) Now I do agree and you are right, they probably are doing the best they can on gauging the skills of the players. However, that's not the only flaw present in the game. When they, for example, reuse sound bits from the announcers over not one version of the game but FOUR (NCAA 06-NCAA 09), I have to question their quality.

I just have to believe if other companies could produce NCAA sanctioned games, that everyone would produce a better overall game. Instead EA sees no reason to make but marginal improvements year after year and I think it hurts their product.

But it is what it is so I can't do much but complain. I still play NCAA 09 and it's a good game. Although my all-time favorite NCAA is 06 with Desmond on it. That was the pinnacle of the EA sports made college games.
