I didn't see the tweet and I don't really care. Pretty sure he is a MSU alum, so I'm sure it was pro-sparty. Doesn't mean anything in regards to his impact on the city where my entire family and friend circle are from. 

Did he get tax breaks? He got $50 million to relocate to downtown. Other than that he hasn't gotten too many big discounts or breaks as far as I know. Don't hate the player, hate the game. His overall investment far outweighs any type of government tax break.

Is he trying to make more money? Of course he is a businessman and we live in a capitalist county. That doesn't mean what he is doing is wrong or bad. Does Jim Harbaugh want to win because he only cares about the team and wants the best for Michigan or does HE want to win on a personal level as well? Pretty sure it is mostly a personal desire to win, everything else is just cherries on top. Doesn't mean he isn't all in for Michigan..

Why would I feel guilt? I appreciate the character assault and the assumptions you're making(incorrectly) but my point is that what Brian said isn't supported by any facts. Other than the fact that he is a mortgage guy and all mortgage gusy are disliked. It is like accusing Ford of getting federal bailout money. Many people think that as well, in reality they just get lumped in with GM for obvious reasons. 

 

All I'm saying is why take a pot shot and one of the only people trying to do good in our state? If you don't live in Michigan or you're from somewhere else I get it. But from someone local why would you disparge a guy like Gilbert?

(per TVH).  Feels like the entire M fan base is in the arena, and Julius Caesar himself is preparing to grant life or condemn us to death with a single gesture.
