That was a beautiful game. We cheer for a schizophrenic team.

Did anybody else hear the commentators defending Manny's clear out during the first PU game? He actually said their should be a rule change because Manny has every right to that spot. Glad to see ESPN recognizing that putting Jay Bilas on anything having to do with Michigan is worthless...
Awesome game - this should really make some bracket noise - now we just need to keep the momentum. Oh, and Manny, keep that wrist wrapped up (I'm slightly superstitious ;), and no more live feeds!!) hahaha

That is all.

I should think this would put the nail in the coffin for any further thoughts of have a live blog for another basketball game.
Great win last night! Go Blue!!

Sims and Harris were just on fire. If we play like that, i feel like we will have no trouble getting another win (of course thats a big 'if')
side note: did i hear the announcer refer to us as 'State' or 'Spartans' multiple times (i think this happenend late in the first half)? or were they just talking about MSU for some reason?

They also said 'Purdue is up by a dozen' and then corrected with 'Michigan leading Purdue by 12'

Two more, kids, come on, two more.

I was glad to hear Raftery sticking up for Manny Harris a little bit too. I wonder if they really will change that rule as a result of that play?
That being said, the announcers also spent quite a bit of time drooling over Kramer too. My favorite line was when they said how Kramer "didn't have any hard feelings" and was "thought it was a good basketball move." Right, he thought that when he was firing up the crowd to try get Manny ejected??
Anyone else notice as soon as the game was over Beilein grabbing all the players and pretty much forcing them into the handshake line?? I wonder if they weren't going to shake hands?
February 27th, 2009 at 12:05 PM ^
Yeah, what was the whole handshake thing about. It looked like Beilein never even shaked Painter's hand b/c he was too busy for some reason rounding up the team.

In all honesty, when I watch the Manny replay from the first Purdue game, am I insane but I really don't know if he even touched the guy. He swings his elbow clearly and its almost like the Purdue kid reacts quickly and does a move like KR in the Matrix and it is the floor that inflicts the damage...
Also, Jay Bilas is replacing Pat Forde as the ESPN writer/commentator/loser with a great job that just hates michigan.

this is a great team to cheer for. they would be a bracket buster team in the tourney too, esp beacuse on any given night they could beat anyone. with that said, an any given night they could lose to anyone too.

Got to watch the whole game last night---great feeling to be excited about Michigan basketball again.
I guess I'm like the next MGo addict: my thoughts immediately went to muppet video after the game ended.
One more game? Hell, let's win 'em both!
