Why do most of the D-1 prospects come out of the east side of the state, particularly Detroit, while only one or two come out of the west side yearly? The west won ALL 8 state championships, yet the only big name recruits from there were Kevin Grady (...) and Ronald Johnson. (Note: Terrence Taylor also came from Muskegon.) The best teams and the best conference, the OK-Red (which has two state champs D-1 and 2 as well as excellent programs all throughout the conference, except Jenison), come from the west side but great players are from the east. Explain, please?
