“The player development is the main thing I like (about Michigan),” Williams said. “You can see that they develop their players. They get them in the gym and they work them hard. And their hard work pays off.”
"He's a hard worker, and he watched me and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) and Nik (Stauksas) put work in to become (first-round picks), and I'm just happy he's getting better," Burke said. "Mesko has an incredibly strong leg. He kicked three straight 62-yard field goals in practice and his hang-time on punts was 5.2 seconds. Not bad seeing that professional punters average 4.7 hang-time on their punts."
I guess I understand why everyone is getting excited over this guy now. I wonder if we'll see Mesko doing kickoffs like Nienberg did with that huge leg.
