Mike Trgovic for DC?

Saw this over at GBW...If he is released from the Panthers, What's the possibility we make a run at him.

is that he:

1. He is a bad recruiter, and hates doing it.
2. Loves the NFL money and wouldn't take a pay cut.
3. Would get offered a comparable NFL job if he were fired. Its not like his defense threw 5 INTs against Arizona.

The college game is "beneath him." He's made a name for himself in the pros and I suspect that, should he get his walking papers from the Panthers, the LIONS would be one of the first teams to call.

I don't think he'd have the patience for the college game or recruiting scene at this point.
