Bummer, I was hoping we could get him
Michigan no longer pursuing Paulus...
Let's hope it's over, the circus I mean. This was getting unbearable, the guy is probably more trouble than he's worth. God forbid that I'd actually root for a Dook PG anyways.
Praise be to Allah. Not that I didn't want him necessarily, but that this whole charade is over.
Thank goodness it's over. Back to normal.
Anybody heard that Denard Robinson is fast?!?!? And what do you guys think about night games?
It was bizarre from the start. At least there is a final answer.
Have a great spring and summer Tate, and don't go do something stupid like tear an ACL surfing
So, did RR rescind the offer? Or did Paulus indulge in some creative hearing during his meeting with RR? We'll never know probably.
...they never really offered. Going back, no one really said that Coach Rod offered an actual scholarship, only said that he would have a chance to compete for the starting job if he gets a waiver and jumps through the hoops.
I understand that RR cited "comments hostile to the idea on MGoBlog" as the decisive factor.
It'd be great to have him on MGoBlog actually. But it should not distract him while he's on the job. Still it'd be interesting to see a RR MGoBoard post every once in a while.
Don't be so quick to assume he doesn't at least read MGoBlog - I would bet money that he does (it's questionable whether he checks MGoBoard itself, however).
If I were him though, I'd make posts similar to THE KNOWLEDGE, just for the lolfactor.
In fact, it seems a number of people on campus have picked up reading since the spotlight on Brian was published in the Daily.
whether Tate is too short and skinny. And if RR understands he's not in the Big East anymore.
Oh well, I guess we can stop printing the "Paulus for Heisman" shirts that ESPN or whoever said we were printing already.
in 5 minutes here they'll be talking about what the paulus recruitment says about the "state of the wolverines."
"Rodriguez fails to land blue-chip QB; insiders say program in disarray"
followed closely by "In related news, former Wolverine Boren to start for Bucks; says family atmosphere much better in Columbus"
Even though they were unanimously opposed to this idea all along, somehow they'll find a way to suggest that not getting him is even worse.
I've been texting with Rittenberg this whole time, trying to get a better story on there. Getting rid of the whole desperate thing.
well, he'd be the guy to talk too. nice work tom. Rich Rod should pay you. sadly, i wonder if this will put an end to the paulus vs. mustain debate they started yesterday
decided from the other day: Munchie Legaux has 3 first names
C Force has an outside shot to start at UCLA this year, otherwise why not?
Jason, on the other hand, would look great coming back to the Maize and Blue.
When Sammy speaks I listen, when he has a "gut feeling", I obey
I agree with wolvinLA... My exact thoughts.
Yes, I was speaking for the both of us.
I love how now it's Michigan that was pursuing Paulus and not the other way around.
Save me Jeebus!
my thoughts exactly
Jebus, Allah and Tom Cruise for this great news.
C-Force decided not to transfer and give WR a shot at UCLA...
Has anyone heard anything recently sayin he plans to tranfer..?
Did you notice that fake 40 time in the article? 4.3??? So maybe we were comparing the speed of the wrong Forcier to Denard. Let's start the argument at the top, using Chris instead of Tate...
Well, Chris may be football fast, but Denard is track fast.
I heard Tyler Hansbrough might be signing on to give us some depth at LB next year.
Also, Allen Iverson still has eligibility left and might be competing for the QB position.
