I bet whenever you play
I bet whenever you play “Circus” someone runs out of bounds in the opposing team’s red zone instead of PITCHING IT TO BREASTON… Sorry, had a bad flashback there.

I haven't played NCAA in a few years--does anyone know if the actual zone read is incorporated? There's a similar looking play in there called the "QB Choice", but does that include leaving the backside DE unblocked and reading him, as a in a true zone read? The blocking assignments in the playbook don't seem to indicate that, or any zone blocking for that matter. All the run blocking seems to be either straight ahead or pulling guards.

they used to suck fairly
they used to suck fairly bad. the blocking isnt the same as RR's normal zone read though. i've yet to figure out if its zone or straight up blocking.

I believe in '08 the zone
I believe in '08 the zone read is blocked correctly, at least as to the DE you're referencing. That said, I've found different reads that make more sense in the game, so I haven't focused on the DE in awhile.

Not enough option for me
WVU's playbook last year had a lot more option than this does. I'd like to see the 09 WVU book just for some comparison.
