But that might have to do with marketing upgrading my 2nd row in the upper deck seat to row 1 on the floor.

In stuff people actually care about other than me, Beilein on the radio after mentioned it was in the middle of finals, a couple of the players were given permission to break curfew because they had papers due at 12:30 am, and he thought they generally played well other than the fact they had an off shooting night. Which he said happens but he was glad it came tonight. He said it was hard for them to run and get easy baskets because the Bearcats didn't evn try to offensive rebound for the most part and got all 5 guys back.

Personally it looked like a few of they guys were tired. They didn't have the lift in their legs and shots they usually make were falling short. I thought we'd in by 30; we won by 28. If you can't get excited by that I'm sure there's ome video out there of the Amaker years. Have fun!

All of these things link Terrance to the murder: hair fibers, blood samples, nail clippings, a piece of his shirt, a watch with his initials on it, a day planner with the murder scheduled, a haiku called, "Time to kill Dr. Jeffrey O'Dwyer"

It looks like that guy above has Trey's 6.

Yeah it wasn't "pretty" but, I don't think much was going to come away from this game, regardless, unless we scored 130 pts and held them under 10.  T'was a win so let's move on and don't put too much thought into this one. On to West Virginia.

Sloppy game but we were obviously working on running certain plays, trying new things.

Still, it's nice to clearly look this much better than bad teams (being wayyy bigger helped, too). We were just out there tossing the ball around. Could've had 80 if we hit half of the open shots or kept the starters in.

Team is fun to watch. Hope they come to play Saturday.

An excellent measure of how far we've come in baskettball can be found in observing:

1. We played like absolute shit and won by 28

2. We fans are dissapointed in a 28 point victory by our undefeated and 3rd ranked team

My, my, my how fast things have changed

Booorrriiinnnng. I really wish we sucked more so this game would have been more interesting. Beating helpless teams to a pulp just isn't fun anymore.

The difference this year it is a moving target with so many new components being integrated into the playing rotations as well as the practice routines that Beilein likes to build upon rather than being stuck in a rut of same old, same old, experienced from time to time in the past.

The heavy lifting will be here soon enough but notice has been served & I for one will be on the edge of my seat savoring each and every moment as the seams meld together into a team of the first order.

I had to stop and remind myself to enjoy the relentless throttling of an overmatched opponent. (OK, I would have rather played, say, Duke.  But given that they were on the schedule...)  I just kept thinking "this is going to destroy our KenPom profile.  There's no way we're going to win by 37!

What a wonderful luxury.  It wasn't long ago (2008/9) when we were going to overtime to beat Savannah State by two.  At home.  (Or Harvard, by three, 2010/11? Western Illinois, by four, just last year?)  This, for those of us old enough to remember, is what Michigan basketball was supposed to feel like.

I was finally able to enjoy the sheer lunacy of, what was it, five Binghamton shot clock violations?  Stauskas having an "off night" with 4/8 3-point shooting?  GR3 bricking the alley oop, Mitch being Mitch and passing it to nobody, getting two or three offensive rebounds on a possession, and then making some ridiciously pretty play... Blake McLimans (!) hoisting threes with reckless abandon... Sure, it wasn't incredibly pretty.. but we won by 28 -on an off night-!

This team is damned good, and I'm going to enjoy every minute they play.. All forty games, if we have our way.

I like how they held an opponent under 40 points and everyone is still all grumbly.

Binghamton routinely dribbled around until the very last few seconds of the shot clock and then ran all five players back to stop a fast break. Difficult to put up a whole ton of points against a team like that, especially on an off shooting night.

Michigan won by nearly as many points as they let the Bingers score.

Of course it was a boring game to watch. I couldn't expect Michigan to get amped to play a great emotional game when the game was going to be anything but. They took care of business and that's all you can ask.

I've never seen so many freshmen NOT look like freshmen. Even Mcgary who plays like  afreshman at times is bigger and stronger than RS JR Jordan Morgan.

I'm waiting for him to clean someones clock on a screen at midcourt vs Ill or Iowa in Jan/Feb

I find McGary quite interesting. He's a guy who goes all out on the court, diving around, rebounding with abandon, throwing ill advised passes, and other stuff, then, when McGary is interviewed after games, he is able to articulate what he was thinking on a play, what mistakes he made, how to correct his errors, etc etc. Very clear thinker and able to convey his views succinctly, that's Mitch McGary.

I was laughing like crazy when the ball flew 20 feet down the court, hit the backboard, went to Burke, passes to Morgan for a layup.

Jeez.  So many people dissatisfied with this game.  What did you want?  We have a completely inferior opponent who intentionally played a styel to prevent us from running away too much, during finals nonethe less.  Are you guys really not satisfied that we didnt blow them out by 50 in the first half?
