MGoGIF: Rain Comment Count

Ace

A couple GIFs to tide you over until tomorrow. First, a new entry in the Andrew Dakich Celebration Pantheon:

Also keep an eye on Stauskas, busy trolling the entire Illinois student section, and if you're of legal age you're allowed to look at the Orange Crush and their variety of inappropriate hand gestures.

The second GIF requires a jump, because it contains every Michigan three-point make from the game. Yes, all 16 of them.

[JUMP]

452 frames of rain:

Rims hit: two (three if you want to double-count the Stauskas rattler). That's patently unfair.

Can't stop watching.  It's time to head home from work, but I can't stop watching.  This must be what Groce feels like - MAKE IT STOP!!

If GIFs take a really long time to load for you, there are browser extensions that will delay playback until each GIF is fully loaded.

Chrome: GIF Delayer

Firefox: GIF Delayer

There's also the Chrome extension GIF Scrubber, which lets you have movie-like control over playback. That one is a lot of fun to play around with.

It would be great to see the number that each of the 3-point makes represents for the game. I wasn't sure halfway through if I had looped back to the beginning, or if I was watching new shots.

Closed the photoshop window; adding numbers would've quadrupled the amount of time it took to put this together, anyway. (Any editing beyond a static overlay—like the MGoBlog logo—takes a significant amount of time.)

My best suggestion is to keep an eye on the scoreboard at the bottom.

You have Spike never breaking stride as he heads back on defense before Nik even lets it go, Nik then trolling the kids in orange, the kids in orange expressing disdain for Nik, and the Dakich moon-prance all in one 4 second bit-o-genius!

I dont know if Dakish can play a lick of basketball or not but giving him scholly was pure genius on Beilein's part.  He simultaniously neutured one of our biggest trollers in Dad while providing much needed bench heat and support.

I was SO hoping young Dakish would get a basket last night just to hear's dad's reaction on the air.

Brian's write up earlier was so right on the shot right before the half...it was from WAAAAAAYYYY out there.

I unfortunately missed the game, but recording the replay tonight.

Watch how Spike just continues his motion back down court.

Also, I love that Caris appears for .2 seconds and then disappears never to be seen in the clip again - in fact, the guy who's guarding him also realizes that it's Stauskas that shot the ball and heads in the opposite direction before he even makes it.

He looks right at Nik shooting, gives up and jogs back down the floor with Caris who is probably already in the paint playing helpside by himself.

Nike has got SWAG fellas. People don't like him because he is cocky. His cockiness is what makes him lethal. He KNOWS the shot is going in. His stare downs are awesome.

What does Dakich do when it doesn't go in? So many of his dances start right when the ball leaves the hand. Maybe he's the reason they all keep going in!
