Here's my first post. Let me get this out of the way: GO BLUE.
I have been keenly waiting (from Minneapolis) the results of the Sam McGuffie saga. I do have one question that I haven't yet seen the answer to, and I believe it's relevant based on what we've read from Coach Rodriguez this past weekend.
As a hypothetical, let's imagine Sam decides against transferring back to Texas or Berkeley (or Sam Houston State). He then takes part in spring practice, but sustains another concussion. As a result, doctors were to decide he could no longer be cleared to play football. What would happen to Sam's scholarship at the U of M? Not, what would it mean to Michigan's scholarship numbers. Would he still have a scholarship? Could it be pulled?
Thanks in advance. Oh, I almost forgot...GO BLUE.
P.S. If I'm violating any decorum in this post (style, form, etc.), please let me know. Thanks.
