Great scoop, Tom. There had been some chatter about other schools making inroads with Robinson and that his recruitment process would be drawn out longer, but this is good news. The accolades for Ricardo continue to pile up; this kid is going to be special. As always, keep up the great work.
Marvin Robinson/Ricardo Miller Combines
Yea a lot of the "recruiting sites" have made it seem like there's something to worry about here. Ricardo's been telling me the whole time there's nothing to worry about with Marvin. Anything can happen, but this one I'm confident with. Especially with Ricardo saying everything's good.
Cool, good to hear. Thanks, Tom.
Ricardo separated his shoulder in 1 on 1's. He said he might be out for 4 weeks, and needs to find out if it's a stretched or torn ligament.
does he need some barwis?
...about Ricardo's shoulder. I can't tell ya how impressed I am with him and everything he is doing to promote Michigan. He exudes the qualities of the "Michigan Man" if such a thing ever existed.
I'm sure you feel the same way, Tom. Thanks for the updates.
FWIW, Mike Farrell interviewed Ricardo, and reapetedly asked him why he chose Michigan. I can't stand that.
farrell has come off as somewhat of a douche lately
Good job, Tom. Did he or you hear anything about anyone else at the combine who was leaning our way? Oh, and what is the skinny on Marcus Hall. Is it just a rumor or can we pull a Boren on the Glenville kid?
He's been talking to Je'Ron and Malik Stokes....
Marcus Hall said he's going to vist next weekend, I don't think this really means anything, but who knows.
Thanks, Tom. I am sorta confused about the Marcus Hall thing. Would Michigan be on the guys radar if Ohio State gives him the cold shoulder? It used to sorta seem like most of the good kids from Ohio and Michigan, those were their two options. And I guess you could throw in the golden domers too. One or the other. Now these kids seem to be leaving the midwest for the Les Miles and the Pete Carrolls of the world.
When you say he made it on the All American team does that mean he is going to be playing in the Army Bowl next year? Also is Marvin taking part in the Under Armour combine? What about Lo Wood and other Florida players we have interest in for the 2010 class? Thanks.
Yea they choose some of the players for the Army All American game before hand, they just don't announce it for awhile. Both Marvin and Lo Wood are at the Under Armour combine.
Florida stops trying to pry him away from Michigan with Urban calling him. He says he is solid so leave him alone.
that is picking up on this bad vibe from the Mike Farrell interviews of Michigan recruits. It's as if Farrell ask "why Michigan" in an attempt to make these recruits defend their selection of Michigan. I do find it funny that Big Will's best play was that with Mike Farrell's interview-who's laughing now Farrell?
What he said after Big Will recommited it was like he was floored.
This kid is doing and saying everything right. If he keeps this up he'll be a legend before he gets to campus. Tate looks like he hired the same publicist they know what we want to hear. They got me pumped. Robinson sounds too good to be true, hope we lock him down soon that may springboard us to a legendary class.
Makes you wish all of the commits were like that, doesn't it?
In fact, you'd think they would all be like that, since college is typically the only point in a player's career where he has to make a choice of where to go.
Tate is one of those guys that I'm just excited to see at UM because he seems to love Michigan so much.
I believe it's Mike that tucks his EARS into his hat. What type of moron tucks his ears into his cap?
Jeremy Jackson was just offered by Notre Dame. He told me that was always his "dream school." BEFORE ANY ONE GOES AND FREAKS OUT ABOUT THIS, DON'T. HE'S BLUE. He just has always liked Notre Dame, and had developed a relationship with Charlie Weis since he was in 8th grade.
