I know that Manny was said to have done very well at the Paul Pierce camp. On my way to look at some basketball recruiting rankings, I noticed a story about Manny and DeShawn Sims at the LeBron James Skills Academy. Anybody know when this is and/or how they did?
Manny Harris at LeBron James camp
they just took under-handed half court shots for the entirety of the camp. Unfortunately, 60 minutes never showed up.
60 minutes baffons :/
Lebron getting dunked on.
I'm hoping it was actually Manny who dunked on LeBron
and he had to enter some witness protection program, changing his name, school, and year.
I hear ya bud...
Manny would've gotten called for the charge and then gotten ejected.
Damn Beilein can't control his players.
classic look of confusion and incredulousness.
from Xavier and the King had the tape of it confiscated. I'm betting it wasn't Brad Redford.
Peedi3416Back from Akron and I was there Lebron didn't get dunked on that bad but I know this one kid did! So Nasty
So apparently, Lebron didn't get dunked on that bad, but some other kid did and it was nasty.
Breaking News, I know.
Haha thanks for the summary
Nike confiscates footage of the dunk:
but I would assume he did well. He has continued to improve over his two years in college, and I can't wait to see how much better he gets this season. I really hope he stays the full four years in college, but I think this will be his last year as long as he improves by a good margin.
sims and harris are awesome!
I listened to a radio broadcast that covered the camp, and it was said that Manny really starred. They said that in the 5-on-5 game his jumper was on, but he excelled at driving to the basket. They also said that Deshawn was getting scouted by NBA scouts for his perimeter game and that he proved that he was capable of dribbling and shooting on the perimeter and that it should have helped his stock. Also, FWIW Zeigler guarded Lebron in the 5-5 and it was said that he appeared un-phased.
Unfazed. Very sorry - I try not to be the "douchey" MGoBlog English Nazi except as a joke, but "phased" instead of "fazed" is a major pet peeve of mine. I even dinged myself for that, sort of like the online version of a house-elf, but I can't stop myself from saying it whenever I see that particular spelling mishap.
I had never heard of Chris Chase or "The Dagger," but I think he just hooked me as a regular reader with this sentence:
"By the time Crawford makes his Xavier debut in October, he will have jumped off LeBron's shoulders, flipped in the air, slammed the ball home with his left pinkie and then handed LeBron $3.99 for his dry cleaning."
I hope he is always this funny.
You missed the best part
"I think it's safe to say that LeBron probably walked off the court without shaking Crawford's hand."
Kind of funny that a shoe company that has been running a "We are all Witnesses" ad campaign would now try to prevent us from seeing footage of him.
