Illinois site has a good recap here:
Michigan probably could have won this dual if the match at 149 had come out different. Beaudry got beat by a wrestler who was winless in the B10, and that 6 point swing would have put Michigan ahead by 1. Still, winless at 149 in the Big Ten might not be so bad, with 5 of the top 8 wrestlers in the country in conference.
Not a bad effort though, no Wolverines got pinned, only one gave up any bonus points at all. Zeerip and Hynes wrestled very good against top notch competition. Especially Hynes, who held Poeta to a 6-3 decision. I really think Hynes will surprise some people at the conference tournament, and I think he's capable of being an all-american if he can get the right draw.
Michigan has one more meet at Purdue tomorrow, a meet they should win, before its time to get ready for the conference championships. This team has a shot to crown 3 champions, and I would say they were in the running to win it all if not for the unstoppable force of nature that is Iowa.
