I think that we've seen a triumph of the human spirit. You can indeed see an inch or two of air under that young man's feet. He is pushing the very limits of what we can call "jumping"...But I think he pulled it off. Maybe.

That was the greatest thing I've seen all day, and I just watched the US beat Mexico and clinch a World Cup berth. Man how El Tri has fallen...one might even say they have fallen to earth quicker than Mr Nix! What? One would not say that? Okay, I guess I'll stop drinking and go to bed now.

Nix does not need any more reasons to feel bad about himself this week.  He's still a pretty dogone good football player!  I'm feeling pretty lucky that he did not have the chance to splatter our QB all over the field once or twice on Saturday night!
