Man, Speight looks like the pitcher "trying to throw strikes".  Wilton, take some deep breaths son and stop "trying to hit the open reciever' and Just "hit the open reciever"!!!

At me when I said this team is awful and could go 8-4 or worse.  Based on today's demonstration, I have to stick by my guns.  1/8 out of red zone trips this year.  Sp8 is pathetic and can't pass; misses open receivers, takes sacks, and has no touch.  What's with Isaac on 3rd and two stopping, looking for a hole?  Teams are supposed to get better as the season progresses and I was willing to cede Cincy as a game of the Yips, but this is a bad harbinger for Harbaugh.

Lucky for the rest of us, they play for sixty minutes and Harbaugh doesn't judge his players off of one play. I guess Isaac should be benched and has not improved? Pfft. Team game, including Drevno with repetitive and unimaginative playcalling. The offense is stalling thanks to poor WR play (holding on a TD, drop of key 3rd down pass--both our "top" guy in Crawford) and inconsistent line play. If only Speight could check out of plays that are obviously diagnosed pre snap by defenses--especially in red zone. But yeah, blame Speight on the team's scoring bc he misses some passes while getting hit or on the run.

Broadneck, my man, if you can't see that Speight isn't a good quarterback then I can't help you. Im simply calling it as I see it.  He missed some open recievers "Again".  He did have on really bad drop by Crawford, but if you cannot make throws with pressure coming or having to move then you aren't a good qb.  That's what good QB's do.

people disagree with you because you are a troll and a hater; the most negative person on this site.  You appear to have very little football IQ to boot.  On the first throw of the game, the receiver needs to adjust to the ball.  The throws that Speight missed on were mostly because the receivers had no separation, like the fades or the post route in the end zone.  He had a couple of bad throws as ALL QB's are going to have.

At first glance, Isaac should have cut to his right just off of the right side of Hill's butt.  I was frustrated that he didn't, but as a guy who has played and coached, I also realize that sometimes players don't execute perfectly.

Was the drop by Crawford on Speight or Crawford?  After all the ball was like 1 inch low and 1 inch to the right.

Nice to see the athletic dept couldn't grant ALL season ticket request due to adding more student tickets among other things. then watching home games like today and the top half of student section is bare.... ridic

Speight is HORRIBLE.  Holy crap.  I am not a "sky is falling guy" but he really is a poor QB.  Look at Air Force to continue to stuff the box because they know Speight cannot throw down field consistently.

Even if we hold on to win, what do we learn from this game? 1) M's offense is a joke at all levels from play calling to QB., 2)  opposition: just line up 8 guys in the box and play man because sp8 can't throw.

sp8 doesn't see the blitz again.  We're 1/10 in the red zone.  Horizontal passing and predictable up the middle runs.  Just pathetic.

There just isn't enough beer in the fridge today.

We're three games into season three, and I just don't see any progression with this year's team.  Offense - abysmal, no improvement.  Defense fundamentally solid but play recognition remains difficult and DB's have yet to tighten up.  Next week is opening day in conference play against a surprising Purdue team.  It's way too early to give up, but one cannot say that Michigan is back where we need to be or that we're a top ten team.

Man, will say Crawford dropping that ball doesn't help Speight.  Im guessing Crawford was thinking "What is this brown leather oblong object coming right to my hands!?".  I think he hasnt seen a ball thrown that way.

It speaks to the character of this team and the lack of leadership on the part of the players.  Guys like sp8, O'Korn, McCray, Isaac need to step up and set the tone for this team.  The young guys like Gary, Bush, etc. are playing lights out but that comes from within.  Perhaps it is the Hoke legacy and it won't change until they are gone?

I'm watching these guys walk off the field like they just lost.  It's clear the players aren't having fun and this team is in trouble.

I don't think its leadership.  I beleive we have SOLID leadership, but leadership cannot make your QB hit recievers he should.  The play calling for the entire second half clearly said "Speight, we are not going to let you lose this game for us".  Tons of runs and quick short throws.  He did hit Perry with one of only two quality throws in the entire second half.  Unfortunately, the other was dropped by Crawford.
