Lewan Muppets Comment Count

Taylor Lewan surprised everyone by announcing he'll return for his senior season at Michigan. When All-American left tackles unexpectedly stay for another year, it's time for muppets.

And you can't have one without the other...

Welcome back, Taylor.

of Jon Jansen and "the last 77" aka Jake Long before the start of the season.  Both of those gentlemen stayed for their last year of eligibility.  I wonder if either/both of those conversations had anything to do with his decision.

Great news for next years' team! Best recruit of the year.

Can't wait for dominance. Thanks, Taylor! I hope the upcoming year pays you back for how happy we as fans are today!

Where are all the idiots who KNEW he was going to head out for the draft when not 5 years ago we had an all american LT in the same situation stay for his last year... goes to show that alot of the time those who claim to be the most assured about an issue are the ones who end up not knowing sh$t.

Between him and Long, only a matter of time until we make 77 a Legends number.  Seriously, two straight tackles who stay through their senior seasons, (probably) go in the top 10 of the NFL draft, and are all-around great dudes?  What else is there?

The news of Taylor Lewan returning for his Senior year is almost as joyous as the day women cheerleaders were allowed on the field at Michigan Stadium.  :)

It was good up until that dumbass high school kid gave them someone to unite against.  It went from pissing and moaning about life to piling on that doofus and the fact he fit their Walmart Wolverine stereotype.

Here is to an injury free and dominant year.  Thank you Taylor.  Please buy a big fat insurance policy as I hear Long did when he came back.  Totally unexpected on my part... I'm sure most everyone else.

I am shocked, stunned, and pretty much any other adjective combining surprise and disbelief.  It's great to see him decide to come back, but I hope he has been offered a nice spot as a GA in 2014 as a "safety net" if anything happens to take him out of the draft.

I think this speaks volumes about our program.  Michigan football is special--special enough to wait another year to get millions of dollars and play at the highest level.

It's also a good reminder that when people are making decisions, you can never be sure.  I'm so excited for our season and much more hopeful that a B1G Championship is within reach now.

GO BLUE!
