In the mid-90's UM saw its lengthy win streaks against Wisconsin, N'Western and Purdue end (this is significant for those of us that were fans from 1993-1995); We lost the Brown Jug in '06 for the first time in 20 years. Then in '09 the bowl streak, the modest streak verse State, and the undefeated record against the MAC ended.
BUT.... UM has not lost to Indiana since 1987. 22 years.
This year should be no different. IU should battle Purdue for last place, and UM gets them at home. There has been a lot of talk on the board the last couple days about 2009 record and "guaranteed" wins as EMU, IU, Del. St., and Purdue are the consensus.
But no one is talking about this trap game... week after a very weak EMU team, and before the first road game for a revenge against Sparty. Oh the pain if they lose this one.
